St. Margaret’s volunteer guilds are important parts of our worship.
The Altar Guild provides us with a beautiful space and the simple implements needed to celebrate the Eucharist. They clean, polish, dust and maintain the beauty of our sanctuary. For more information contact the Parish Office.
The St. Margaret’s community appreciates the aesthetic and is blessed with simple yet stunning arrangements of flowers on the high altar, under the central altar, around the lecterns, and on special occasions at the baptistry, pew ends, and columbarium.
The flower guild is currently accepting volunteers. While it is helpful, flower arranging skills are not necessary. If you would like to join this important ministry, contact Bob Healy – email@example.com.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Every week members of the congregation take the Eucharist directly from the altar to those in the congregation who aren’t able to attend church because they are ill or no longer mobile. This ministry is critical in that it keeps us bound together as a community and assures that those who are unable to be with us are visited by lay persons as well as clergy. Though this is a liturgical, not a pastoral role per se, it is a way that we can be alert to the needs of those who are not physically with us. If you would be interested in assisting, contact Isabelle Melese d’Hospital – firstname.lastname@example.org.
