The Rev. Rachelle Sam
Priest Associate
The Rev. Rachelle Sam was called to serve at St. Margaret’s as a part-time priest associate as of September 2019. Rachelle also serves in a full-time capacity as Upper School Chaplain and Dean of Community Life at St. Albans School. At St. Margaret’s she assists on three Sundays a month by sharing in the clerical leadership in worship and teaching.
Rachelle grew up in southeast Texas and attended Rice University where she earned a B.A. Her passion for studying religion led her to Harvard Divinity School. Through internships with City Mission Society, M.I.T. Religious Life, and Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, Rachelle discovered a call to nurture the spiritual and moral lives of young people. She taught religion at several independent schools before returning to seminary to complete a Diploma in Anglican Studies at Virginia Theological Seminary. She was ordained as a transitional deacon in November of 2018 and as a priest in June of 2019.

Giving

At St. Margaret's we rely on financial gifts from members and guests to support our ministries and mission. There are a number of ways to give, including making a formal annual pledge.
