This year's Christmas Pageant brought the favorite characters from the land of Oz (Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion) to meet the Wise Men and join them as they went to see the Christ Child. Kudos to Jenny & Emily Carson, Farar Elliott & Renee Shaw for producing and directing the show and to the children of St. Margaret's for their acting talents.

As part of the search for a new rector, Reverend Anne-Marie Jeffreys organized a History Day. A long sheet of parchment was taped around the Parish Hall and parishioners could write their names on the year they began attending St. Margaret's and note weddings, baptisms, and funerals. Highlights were also noted concerning rectors called, major building renovations and special church events. In addition, photos, newspaper articles and church bulletins from the Archives were available to jobg memories. It was informative and enjoyable.

Saturday, November 20. St. Margaret's regularly registers a larger number of people to support Charlie's Place as a part of the Help the Homeless Walkathon. The Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Program is the largest effort in the nation to raise money and awareness about homelessness. More than a hundred nonprofits will benefit and 100 percent of the money we raise goes to these Help the Homeless beneficiaries. |

“Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land. You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters. We ask you to bless these pets. By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan. May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation. Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.” St. Francis of Assisi, Lover of all Creatures
