Stewardship Doesn't Take a Break
The Parish has successfully met the 2008 Pledge Goal of $450,000. Now we each need to do our part to implement our promise to sustain the finances and ministries of St. Margaret's. It is essential that we keep our support current through regular giving throughout the year. Our failure to keep this commitment forces the periodic sale of other investment assets, which weakens the overall financial security of the Parish.Your Stewardship Committee also plans to feature various ministries throughout the coming months, as a reminder of the time and talent we need to maintain and grow our impact upon our youth, our community, and our presence. Please consider how you can provide stewardship to our many ministries as your time and priorities allow.
If you have ideas or questions regarding Stewardship at St. Margaret's, please feel free to contact Committee Members Mike Armstrong, Michael Daniel, and Charlie Grizzle. The work of the committee, supplemented by Vestry Members Terry Cain, Paige Cottingham-Streator, Linda Heaney and Randy Ruffin, along with Susan and Caron, has been instrumental in laying a strong foundation for an ongoing stewardship emphasis. All of us are deeply grateful to the generosity of the Parish.

Financial Update
To meet the annual operating budget of St. Margaret’s, approximately $16,000 in income from all sources is needed each week. Unfortunately, weekly deposits have been declining recently. So far in March, for example, we received only about $7,810 in operating income each week. The good news is that we have met the stewardship goal of $450,000 for this year. Because pledges represent about one-half of the income needed for St. Margaret’s, this is a reminder that it is very important that you keep your pledges up to date. If you have any questions about your pledge payments or would like to make or increase your pledge, please call the parish offices.
