St. Margaret's Church and Christ Lutheran Church partnered to furnish an apartment for a family who had been living at the homeless shelter at DC General.

The apartment residence is called Partner Arms and was renovated in 2002 with the help of a group of churches including St. Margaret's. The faith based nonprofit Transitional Housing Corp provides supportive
services for these families and over 300 others in a cluster of locations in DC.

The two parishes donated all of the furnishings for the apartment and volunteers helped with the move-in day.

Thanks to all who donated items.  A special thanks to David Griswold,  Bill Amt, Cliff Laufer, Mason Ingram, Laura Segueira, Lucas Trainer, Bridgette Wolfe-Bertling, Kelsey Ryan, and Polly Donaldson who volunteered on move-in day!
