Thanks to everyone who made the 2012 St. Margaret's Rummage Sale a huge success!! If you donated items, helped move, sort, or display them, worked on
sale day, contributed food for volunteers, helped with supplies or
administration, purchased items, or said a prayer for volunteers and visitors,
you are part of this success. Thank you!
Other important numbers to note: We
don't keep a count of how many people attend the sale, but
Thank you to each and every one of you. Much gratitude also
for the staff of St. Margaret's, who cheerfully dealt with extra tasks and
disruption caused by sale week, and to Charlie's Place staff and guests for
their flexibility. WE'LL SEE EVERYONE NEXT YEAR!!!
- At least 300
"paid" receipt slips were used at the main checkout alone (note that
some people make several individual purchases)
- At least 58 people helped sort
and organize items and set up during the week before the rummage sale--some,
including department chairs and several other very generous volunteers, put in
many, many hours (12, 20, or more).
- More than 45 volunteers helped during the
sale or cleanup.
