In Case Hurricane Joaquin Decides to Visit Washington
The current weather forecast from the National Hurricane Center shows a slight shift to the east of the track of Hurricane Joaquin that would keep the center of the storm out in the Atlantic south of us and lessen the impact on Washington, DC. Currently our plans are to hold all services on Sunday as scheduled.
Even so, the District of Columbia will almost surely get significant rain, so please be careful driving to church this weekend. If the forecast shifts significantly and Sunday becomes more perilous, we will issue an eAnnouncement Advisory letting you know about any changes at St. Margaret's due to the weather. So please watch your email inbox Friday and Saturday in case we need to get a message to everyone about any changes in parish plans for Sunday.
