In case you missed the annual meeting...

... it was a lot of fun and we all wished you were there. The whole shebang was marked by videos, dancing, parliamentary motions, and the election of new vestry members! Best moment: the “Yeah, baby!” from the back of the room when a 16-year-old realized canon law deems her old enough to vote.

The new Junior Warden is Ron Lorentzen, replacing the term-limited Paige Cottingham-Streater. The new vestry members are James Staton, Kate Weber, Carlin Rankin, Genevieve Morland, and Melissa Shaw (well, Melissa is an incumbent, but she was elected for a second term). They join existing vestry members Jenny Carson, Mason Ingram, John McCall, Dan Healy, Ann Yonemura, and Senior Warden Farar Elliott. It’s a grand bunch of people, ranging from twentysomethings to septuagenarians, from cradle Episcopalians to wandering faith seekers, from East Coast to West Coast and from Louisiana to New England.
