Photos from "A Concert for Peace", which was held last Friday evening, September 6, at St. Margaret's.  Dr. Theodore Guerrant, St. Margaret's Organist/Choirmaster, was joined by Jane Moore Kaye, in a four-hand piano recital, featuring the works of Brahms, Debussy, Gershwin and Mendelssohn.

Teddy quoted in the program notes:  "I reasoned what better way to suggest "peace" than to play a recital in collaboration with another musician?!  Peace is about collaboration.  It means following the rules when necessary, but listening carefully to one another, sharing, experimenting, taking risks, sometimes bargaining, backing off when necessary and, ultimately, about sincerely attempting to play well with others.  Give and take.  Teamwork."

Free-will offerings for the evening were for Charlie's Place.  The program will be repeated on Sunday, September 29, at 4:00 p.m., at Providence Presbyterian Church, in Fairfax, VA.
