Ministry hops into action. Hello Easter Basket Fans ! You can enjoy the fun of an Easter
Basket and share it with someone who needs it too. Perhaps you would like
to indulge in a little pre-Easter fun and share some of the anticipation of
rebirth at Easter with others.
We will be renewing the Easter Basket ministry this year and need your help. Here is how it works: Parishioners bring an Easter Basket they either create themselves or purchase to donate to church on Sunday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day!).
We can help share the spirit of Easter and
Springtime with a child. Suggestions for baskets: books (English and Spanish);
small, new toys such as: a jump rope, chalk, coloring books and crayons, or a
plush animal. Children certainly enjoy sweets as well, but let’s try not to be
overly generous in the sweets area. Use your imagination and make your basket
memorable – and the one that everyone wants to purchase. It is helpful to wrap
them in cellophane but if you can’t find any or don’t have time, we will have
extra to use on the day of the sale, March 17.
All donations will support our youth program; so bring your an Easter Basket, purchase an Easter Basket, or do both; and support our community of children. Questions? Contact Dan Sealy email@example.com, Heidi Mayor firstname.lastname@example.org or Emily Guthrie email@example.com .
