Michele Thornett Spirituality and Ecology of Eating Locally Part I Michele Thornett will become Part II of Spirituality and the Ecology of Eating. She has, with others, launched a Farmers Market in the Crossroads section of Tacoma Park, which is both very international and also a poorer area than where farmers' markets usually locate. The aim is to provide fresh, local produce, also a variety of vegetables and fruits that appeal to the ethnicities represented in the community, as well as to encourage local people to start growing for the market through micro-lending.

Didi Smith and her husband from St. Albans speaking about the church's "Beads of Prayer" ministry, which includes instructing other church groups in the use of anglican prayer beads and making them for use of our military chaplains overseas. They will also give those attending a chance to experience using the beads in small groups.

Drawing on her work at Sojourners, Julie will discuss some real shifts in some segments of the evangelical church interms of their political engagement and positioning -increase inenvironmental awareness commitment , work on poverty issues beyond just direct service or charity. Many evangelical leaders and churches have been distancing themselves from the Religious Right.

Farar Elliot and Jenny Carson
Farar Elliot and Jenny Carson Crucifiction and Ressurection in European Art Continuing the exploration they began in Advent, Farar and Jenny will explore how the Crucifiction and Ressurection have been depicted. They will contrast regional differences in these depictions.
