Episcopal 102 (Confirmation Class) Starts April 6: Confirmation is a sacramental rite in which a baptized person makes an adult affirmation of their faith. In confirmation we commit to the Anglican/Episcopal way of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Reception is a formal way to join an Episcopal Church for those baptized and confirmed in a different tradition. Episcopal 102 is a five part course that will be offered Sunday, April 6 - April 27, after the 11:15 a.m. service in the parlor (skipping Easter Sunday, April 20). Those who wish to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church, those who have been confirmed or received previously and want to reaffirm your commitment, and those who just would like to delve into what it means to be an Episcopalian -- all are welcome to join in this series. Sign up sheet will be on the welcome table in the parish hall. For more info see our Seminarian, Jacob Piece at email@example.com or the Rector, Kym, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
